Do you only work with businesses in Warrington?
No. Our main focus is supporting businesses in Warrington and the surrounding local community, but we can also work with clients throughout the UK and internationally because most of our services are delivered online.
Do I need to visit an office?
No. We operate primarily online. Projects can be discussed and managed through email, WhatsApp, phone, website chat and Zoom.
This means you do not need to spend time travelling, sitting in traffic or attending unnecessary face-to-face meetings.
Can you visit my business?
Yes, where a project genuinely requires an on-site visit, such as photography, measurements, signage or location-related work. We value your time and ours.
For businesses outside Warrington and the surrounding area, an additional travel/service charge may apply. A typical additional visit charge may start from around £55-£100, depending on location and requirements.

How much does a website cost?
Website pricing depends on the type of project and functionality required. Current starting prices include:

What means "starting from" actually?
“Starting from” means the displayed price is the minimum price for that type of service. It covers the standard package and basic requirements. The final price may be higher if you need extra pages, additional features, integrations, more products, custom functionality, content creation or other work outside the standard package. We will always explain and confirm the final price with you before any additional work or charges are made.
Final quotations depend on pages, features, integrations and individual project requirements.
How long does it take to build a website?
Typical development times are:
- Standard presentation and business websites: approximately 7–12 days.
- Larger platforms, online shops and more complex websites: approximately 20–35 days.
These times include development and testing, provided the required content and feedback are supplied without significant delays.
How do website revisions work?
Website projects are developed collaboratively rather than waiting until the very end for feedback.
During development we may ask you to review the interface, buttons, colours, layout and other elements so changes can be made naturally throughout the project.
Who provides the text and images for my website?
Normally the client supplies their business information, text, photographs, logo and other content.
If you need help creating content, graphics or photography, these services can also be provided at an additional cost based on the project requirements.
Can you redesign my existing website?
Yes. Our website redesign service can modernise the existing interface, improve mobile presentation and create a more contemporary user experience.
The starting redesign price normally covers the existing website structure and content. Adding new pages, replacing content or introducing additional functionality may require a separate quotation.
Can you work on a website another designer built?
Yes. We can review existing websites and determine what can be improved.
This can include WordPress websites as well as websites built using platforms such as Wix, Squarespace, Shopify or custom development. We review each project individually and confirm what is technically possible.
Will my website work properly on a mobile phone?
Yes. Responsive development is an important part of our website process. We design and test interfaces for desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
Will I receive access to my website after launch?
Yes. Website clients can receive access to their WordPress administration dashboard and associated website services.
We recommend that structural or technical changes are discussed with us before being made. Changes made independently by the client or another developer may affect the website and can invalidate responsibility for issues caused by those changes.
Who owns the website when it is finished?
Once the agreed project has been paid in full, the client owns the website files created for their project.
If the website is hosted through Web Warrington and the hosting relationship later ends, we can provide the appropriate website files for transfer to another hosting provider.
Do you offer urgent website development?
Where our workload and the project requirements allow it, we may accept priority or urgent development.
A typical additional £99 priority fee applies where we have to rearrange scheduled work or complete work outside normal working hours.

How much does an online shop cost?
Professional WooCommerce online shops currently start from approximately £840.
Final pricing depends on product numbers, categories, payment systems, shipping requirements, integrations and other functionality.
How many products are included in the starting package?
The standard starting package can include approximately 20 products.
For example, the shop could contain approximately five categories with four products in each category.
Will I know how to manage my online shop?
Yes. We provide guidance and training so you can understand how to manage important areas such as products, pricing, descriptions, categories and other day-to-day shop information.
What payment methods can an online shop accept?
Depending on the project and chosen payment provider, online shops can support payment options such as debit and credit cards, Stripe, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and compatible digital payment methods.
Klarna and other eligible payment methods may also be integrated where available.

Graphic design projects include three revisions free of charge.
A revision can include changes such as colour, size, boldness, design lines or other requested amendments.
After the three included revisions, each additional amendment is charged at £12.
How many logo concepts do I receive?
Logo projects normally include up to three initial concepts/revisions.
Additional design amendments after the included revisions are charged at £12 each.
What format will I receive my final design in?
Final approved design artwork is supplied in professional PDF format suitable for the agreed use.
Do you use professional design software?
Yes. Depending on the project, our work can involve professional Adobe tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

Professional Printing
What can you print?
We provide professional printing for a wide variety of business and marketing materials, including:
How quickly will my printing arrive?
Many standard print orders can be produced and delivered within approximately 1–3 working days after artwork approval.
Occasionally production can take longer due to equipment maintenance, specialist materials, paper availability or other production factors. Where we are aware of a delay, we aim to notify you.
Is printing delivery free?
Free UK delivery is available for qualifying smaller printing orders, typically orders under £100.
For larger or heavier orders over £100, delivery is calculated according to the order size, weight and destination.
Is there a minimum printing quantity?
Minimum quantities depend on the product being printed. For example, business card orders can start from approximately 25 cards.
Can I send you artwork that is already designed?
Yes. If your artwork is already designed, you can send it to us for printing.
Print artwork should be supplied in PDF format. If the artwork needs conversion or correction before printing, we can prepare it for approximately £12, or you can correct the file yourself and resend it.
Can you design my flyer or business card and then print it?
Yes. We can manage the entire process, including graphic design, revisions, print preparation, professional printing and delivery.

Is SEO included with a new website?
New websites include basic native/on-page SEO preparation so pages have an appropriate technical foundation and can be submitted/indexed for search engines.
A complete ongoing SEO campaign is a separate professional service.
How much does professional SEO cost?
Dedicated SEO services currently start from approximately £320.
Before confirming the work, we analyse the website, content, internal/external links and existing search structure so the appropriate level of work can be quoted.
Can you guarantee that I will be number one on Google?
No professional agency can ethically guarantee a specific permanent Google ranking because search results are controlled by search engines and change according to competition, algorithms, location and many other factors.
What we can do is improve the technical, content and local foundations of your website to give it a stronger opportunity to perform.
Can you set up or improve my Google Business Profile?
Yes. We can help create, set up or optimise a Google Business Profile where appropriate.
Initial setup or optimisation is normally around £50–£100, depending on the work required.
Ongoing profile updates and management can also be arranged separately.
What does AI integration include?
AI integration can start from approximately £600 depending on the required functionality.

The first year of hosting is included with qualifying business website and online shop packages when the client does not already have suitable hosting.
If you already have hosting, we can review whether it is suitable for the website.
Is the domain name included?
We can help you choose and register your domain, but the cost of the domain itself is separate from the website development price.
Where possible, we recommend that the domain is registered in the customer's own name so the client remains the registered owner.
Are backups and website security included?
Yes. Websites hosted through our service include appropriate backup and security measures as part of the hosting environment.
Do I get a professional business email address?
Yes. Website packages can include one professional email address, for example:
Additional email accounts can be created on request, up to approximately 20 mailboxes depending on the hosting package, at additional cost.
MAINTENANCE

Do you offer monthly website maintenance?
Yes. Optional website maintenance plans are available for clients who want ongoing technical support and website care.
PAYMENTS
Deposits, Cards, Klarna & Instalments
How do I pay for graphic design and printing?
Graphic design and printing orders are normally paid 100% upfront using a secure payment link.
How do I pay for a website?
Website and e-commerce projects normally require an initial deposit of approximately 50–60%, depending on the project.
The remaining balance is paid towards the end of the project when development reaches the testing and completion stage.
What card payments do you accept?
Can I pay using Klarna?
Klarna can be made available for eligible UK payments where it is supported by the payment provider.
If you would like to use Klarna, let us know before payment so we can provide the appropriate payment link where available.
Can I pay in instalments?
Instalment arrangements can sometimes be created through Stripe for suitable projects.
Instalment plans must be requested and agreed before the payment arrangement is created.
Do your prices include VAT?
Web Warrington is currently not VAT registered, therefore VAT is not currently added to our invoices.
Do I receive an invoice?
Yes. A formal invoice or payment record is prepared after payment has been completed.
CLIENT SUPPORT
Support After Your Project
Do you provide support after my website goes live?
Yes. Clients can contact us for technical information and guidance after launch.
Basic phone instructions and general information are not normally charged.
What happens if I change the website myself?
You can receive administrative access to your website, but we recommend contacting us before making structural, code, plugin or major content changes.
If changes made by the client, another developer or third-party software cause technical problems, those issues may fall outside the original project support or warranty.
What is your cancellation or refund policy?
Cancellation and refund eligibility depends on the type of service, payment status and how much work has already been completed.

Do you provide website development training?
Yes. Web Warrington provides website development and WordPress training for people who want to learn how websites are created and managed.
We currently offer two course package options.
Do I receive a certificate after the course?
Yes. Eligible website development training can include a CPD certificate after successful completion.
